At sunset, on the most beautiful day (May 20th,
2006), on the most beautiful beach (Laguna
Beach, CA), the most amazing man in the world
(Jason) made me (Elly) the luckiest woman by
asking me to marry him!
We started by finding a secluded part of the
beach. Jason had bought an amazing picnic set
that I've been wanting, and we were going to have
our first and our best picnic ever! We enjoyed wine
& cheese as well as the incredible weather and even
more unbelievable view.
Jason had brought along his guitar and video
camera, which he brings with him everywhere, so I
wasn't suspecting anything out of the ordinary.
He told me that he wanted to play me a song that
he recently learned, and as he started playing, I
realized that the lyrics were about us…and the
last verse said "Elly will you marry me?" I was
speechless and basically couldn't stop crying…I
obviously said yes without even caring about the
ring…that is until I saw it! It is the most
beautiful and thoughtful ring that he designed
for me and I am completely in love with it-and
him!!!!!
We just wanted to share with you, all of our
friends, the exciting news. We will keep you all
posted as plans are made and dates are set.
